Student Learning Objectives
Students will construct characters from the story.

Lesson Formative Assessment
I will check for understanding and student achievement by checking the Fakebooks made by each group.

Student Engagement and Inquiry
  • As a class we will go over the quiz they did the day before.
  • I will then tell the students that they will be creating a Fakebook.
  • Fakebook
  • I will show the students a screen cast-o-matic, on how to create a fakebook
  • The students will create Fakebooks in groups.
  • The Fakebooks will be on characters from the book
  • The students will include pictures and facts about their characters
  • Each character will need to have 5 facts
  • The will go on each others fake books and comment as if they actually are the character.

Closure
I will close this lesson by having the groups share their Fakebooks.
